21 community participants graduate from Decatur Leadership Institute

December 9, 2021 – Today, the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce held a graduation ceremony for the 21 community participants who went through the Decatur Leadership Institute (DLI) program in 2021. The event was held at Richland Community College’s Bistro Five Thirty Seven.

The Decatur Leadership Institute is a community-wide effort, facilitated by the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce, to ensure high-quality leadership to meet the present and future challenges that face the Decatur area. Participants go through 14 once-a-week sessions, each delving into different industries. They also must complete a group-based project with the goal of promoting growth in their community.
