December 15, 2021 – The Macon County Conservation District is offering pre-packaged Mini-Camp Nature Kits to enjoy in the comfort of your own home, as your schedule allows. These pre-packaged kits contain activities, games and crafts exploring each camp theme.
December’s Mini-Camp Nature Kit theme is Pajama Party. Campers will learn what animals do during the cold months, and are invited to join in the fun by wearing their favorite pajamas, which keep us warm just like animals’ fur. These kits provide a great opportunity for little ones to learn about nature with their loved ones from the comfort of home. The kits are $6 each. Must register online by December 20th HERE.
Kits will need to be picked up from Rock Springs Nature Center during the timeframe specified in registration. Please allow three days for thm to process your kit order. Each kit includes materials for one participant. They will call you when the kit is ready for pick-up.
