January 17, 2023 – The Macon County Conservation District and Decatur Camera Club announced a four-part Nature Photography workshop series in February held at the Rock Springs Nature Center. The Introduction to Digital Photography for Wildlife and Nature will be offered on February 1, 8, 14, and 22 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Participants will learn how to use their cameras, how to plan for the best photographic results outdoors, and receive hands-on instruction. Some cameras will be available for use if you don’t have your own. This workshop is geared towards the beginning photography enthusiast and intermediate photographers, but photographers of all skill levels are welcome to join.
Joe Norton, a member of the Decatur Camera Club and an expert on wildlife and nature photography, will be the instructor for this free four-session workshop.
For your best learning experience, it is recommended that you participate in each of the four separate sessions. However, the course has been designed so that you can attend any one of the sessions or all of them. Please be sure to register for each session you would like to attend.
Register by noon the day prior to class at MaconCountyConservation.org.
