New Relief Grant Available for Rural Businesses, But Deadline Quickly Approaching

December 5, 2020 – The Local Initiatives Support Corporation or LISC is offering a new grant for businesses in rural communities affected by COVID-19, but the deadline is quickly approaching.

The grant is available to businesses in communities that have a population of 50,000 or less. There will be a total of 900 grants issued totalling $18 Million in 2 “rounds”.  The first round of grant applications must be submitted by tomorrow, Sunday, December 6th by 10:59pm CST.

Additional upcoming rounds include December 29, 2020 to January 5, 2021 and January 26 – February 2, 2021. You must submit a new application for each round in order to be considered for funding in that round.

If your business qualifies, again, you must submit your application HERE no later than Sunday, December 6th by 10:59pm.
