February 1, 2022 – The City of Decatur has issued a winter no-parking condition effective at 5 pm today.
The following restrictions will be implemented on streets with posted Winter No-Parking:
The parking, leaving, or stranding of any vehicle would be banned on designated Winter No Parking streets. These can be identified by red and white signs. The sign reads, “Winter No-Parking, when snow or ice is on street, tow away zone.”
Any vehicle parked on these streets would have to be removed by the time specified in the declaration of the winter no parking condition. Violators are subject to fines and towing.
