April 26, 2022 – Robbie Brown, café associate in the Food and Nutrition department at Decatur Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for March.
Brown, of Decatur, has worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2019.
Brown is known for her ability to keep a friendly and helpful demeanor under pressure, said hospital officials. “Robbie’s department has been so short-staffed. That means Robbie and her colleagues are working nonstop,” said Joseph Skelley, who works in the Materials Management department at Decatur Memorial Hospital and who nominated Brown for recognition. “Even though she is so busy, Robbie is always kind and just a very pleasant person to be around.”
Outside of work, Brown enjoys singing in her church choir and spending time with her family.
