September 19, 2023 -Impact Life and Macon County are holding a blood drive on September 27th and they are asking residents to sign up.
So far, appointments have been slow for the Macon County Blood Drive and organizers say donations are desperately needed. Donations provide lifesaving blood products to our local hospitals, DMH Memorial Medical & HSHS St. Mary’s.
All presenting donors get a voucher for a $10 gift card or bonus reward points to redeem a limited-edition Halloween t-shirt. To sign up to give blood, click here or call the Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
The drive will be held Wed, September 27th from 8am to 11am at the Donor Bus which will be located at the Macon County Health Department at 1221 East Condit St.
Donors are asked to bring a photo ID, eat before donating, and drink plenty of water in the days before & after you give.
