September 28, 2026 – The Macon County Conservation District will host its annual Treat Trail at Rock Springs Conservation Area on Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th from 5 to 8 p.m.
The event invites families to put on their Halloween costumes and bring their treat bags for an evening of activities at Rock Springs.
Participants will follow the Treat Trail along the Bike Trail and through the Pine Forest, stopping at several treat stations along the way. Each stop will feature an interactive activity in addition to treats.
After completing the trail, visitors can stop inside the Rock Springs Nature Center for warm apple cider and cookies.
The cost is $5 per treat collector and $2 for each accompanying guest. Registration is required by noon on October 15th, and participants can select a time slot that works best for their family. Register by clicking HERE.
