October 21, 2026 – The Decatur Park District will host a free, Halloween-themed trick-or-treat event for individuals with special needs on Thursday, October 29, in Decatur.
The Special Needs Trick or Treat event will run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Scovill Park West Activity Center, 3909 West Main Street.
Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, but costumes are optional. The event will feature music, mini-games and treats collected along a trick-or-treat route around the facility’s banquet room.
The Park District says guardians and helpers must remain with participants during the event.
The event is open to all ages, and admission is free.
