September 15, 2025- The Girl Scouts of Central Illinois are gearing up for their sweetest evening of the year: Diamonds & Desserts.
The annual event, held Wednesday, September 18th starting at 6 p.m. at the Country Club of Decatur, honors community changemakers while serving up Decatur’s sweetest treats and raising funds to support the Girl Scouts programming in STEM, the arts, financial literacy, and civic engagement.
The 2025 Diamond Honoree is Natalie Beck, CEO of the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation for her long-standing support of the Decatur Community.
Attendees can expect cookie-inspired cocktails and desserts, a bake-off by local chefs, and a chance to win on the Sweet Surprise Wall by Flora Gems. Chefs participating in the bake-off include Cindy’s Delights, SugaFix, Richland Community College, Country Club of Decatur, Coney McKanes, and more.
Tickets can be purchased for $100 per person, and a table of eight is $850.
