August 21, 2025 – Chevrolet Camaro fans are heading to Central Illinois this Saturday for a car show at the Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum in Decatur.

The non-profit group “Illinois Camaro” headquartered out of Northern Illinois, holds events throughout the year, and any profits made go to charity. The 2025 charity is Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Inc.

“We are so excited to bring this show to Central Illinois. We are lucky to have such an amazing museum in Decatur and Illinois Camaro is honored to be able to partner with the staff there and hopes to make this an annual event,” said ILCAM South Director Brenda Protz.

The event on August 23rd will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parking lot of the museum. The car show is free and open to the public. Car owners are asked to check in at the registration table upon arrival.

There will be Best in Show trophies given to each generation of Camaro, as well as Best Modified, Farthest Distance Driven and Judge’s Choice. Non-Camaro awards will be Best in Show, Best Modified, and Most Unique.

The car show features the Chevrolet Camaro, but all makes and models of cars may be displayed.
