September 8, 2025 – The DPS 61 Board of Education is soliciting the help of community members, parents and district staff in the search for a new Superintendent for Decatur SD 61.
A survey provided by the Illinois Association of School Boards is currently available online at www.dps61.org/SuptSearch.
Questions on the survey include choosing five competencies you believe are most important for the next Superintendent, as well as types of previous experience.
The survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
All responses are anonymous and confidential.
