October 3, 2025 -Millikin University is showing once again what it means to be Decatur’s University by stepping up in a big way for the WSOY Community Food Drive.
Today, the Big Blue family presented their donation of $8000 in cash and food toward the fight against hunger in Macon County. Millikin set a goal of collecting 5,000 pounds of food, and thanks to the generosity of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, they’ve made a powerful impact.
From drive-up donation days outside the University Commons, to collection bins across campus, to department challenges and more, the entire Millikin community came together to help local families.
Every can, every dollar, and every act of giving adds up—and today’s presentation is a reminder of Millikin’s ongoing commitment to service and leadership.
