Rock Springs Conservation Area to host Fall Harvest Festival October 11th

October 8, 2025 – The Macon County Conservation District will host its annual Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Rock Springs Conservation Area, offering a range of fall-themed activities for all ages. 

Attendees can enjoy family-friendly events such as 3D archery, atlatl throwing, canoeing, pumpkin painting, and wagon rides. Tours of the Homestead Prairie Farm, including its woodworking shop and gardens, will also be available at no cost. 

Activity fees include $3 per person for archery and canoeing, $5 per person for pumpkin painting, while all other activities are free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the new Hidden Hollow patio, provided by the Macon County Conservation Foundation.
