December 4, 2025 -The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) will host the Illinois Product Holiday Market December 5th–7th. The Illinois Product Holiday Market will be held indoors at Springfield’s Union Station, 500 East Madison Street, due to near-freezing temperatures in the weekend forecast. The three-day market will feature vendors offering Illinois-made goods, including food, beverages, crafts, and other gift items. Listed vendors include Rolling Lawns Farm, Jon Ellis Woodworking, Twyford BBQ, MKS Meats, Custom Cup Coffee, and Berries and Flour: Bakery and Harvest Goods. Attendees will also be able to purchase ready-to-eat items such as pierogies and Polish sausage.

The market will include family-focused activities, such as a free children’s workshop where participants can create ornaments and write letters to Santa. Santa visits are scheduled during select hours throughout the weekend.

New this year, Chef Alex from the Illinois Governor’s Mansion will lead live cooking demonstrations featuring dishes prepared with products from participating vendors. Demonstrations will be offered Friday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For visitors age 21 and over, Illinois Wine will provide a wine-tasting experience featuring seven Illinois wineries. Admission to the tasting tent is $10 and includes six tasting tickets and a commemorative tumbler.

The Illinois Product Holiday Market is supported by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois Wine, Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Downtown Springfield Inc., and the Sangamon Mass Transit District.
