July 8, 2026 – Crossing Healthcare is once again hosting its annual Ready, Set, School clinics to help families complete required school health screenings and immunizations before the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The clinics are designed to make it easier for busy families to meet Illinois school health requirements by offering multiple clinic dates and extended evening appointments through 6:30 p.m. Organizers say completing these requirements before school begins can help prevent students from being sent home or experiencing delays in starting classes.
The clinics are open to students entering kindergarten, sixth, ninth and twelfth grades. Services include school physicals and immunizations provided by Crossing Healthcare, along with dental screenings offered by on-site partner Familia Dental.
Clinic dates are scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, Tuesday, July 28, and Tuesday, Aug. 11. Appointments are available from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
Crossing Healthcare recommends scheduling appointments early, as space is limited. Appointments are available for current Crossing Healthcare patients as well as children who do not have a primary care provider. Families can schedule an appointment by calling (217) 877-9117.
