July 20, 2026 – The Dawson Civic Leadership Institute is inviting area high school students interested in healthcare careers to learn more about its Health Professions Club during an upcoming information session.
The drop-in event will be held Wednesday, July 22, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Classroom C at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Students and their families may attend at any time during the hour to learn about the program, ask questions, complete registration paperwork and receive the upcoming schedule of activities.
The Health Professions Club offers students opportunities to gain hands-on experience, connect with healthcare professionals and explore careers in the medical field.
Program organizers also note that students interested in participating in the Residential Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, Program must first become active members of the DCLI Health Professions Club.
