September 24, 2026 – Millikin University has been ranked among the top regional colleges in Illinois in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings.
Millikin ranked No. 4 in Illinois among Regional Colleges in the Midwest and also ranked No. 4 in the newly added category of Top Private Regional Colleges in the Midwest.
The university also ranked No. 6 in Illinois for Best Value, recognizing its combination of academic quality and affordability.
The recognition comes as Millikin welcomed its largest undergraduate class since 2019. This fall’s incoming class included 445 new undergraduate students, a 12-percent increase from last year, along with 135 transfer students — the most in 11 years.
