May 1st, 2020 -The City of Decatur is suspending its parking enforcement through May 31st.
The previous order suspending enforcement of Time Limited parking on the public parking lots, alley’s, and streets in the downtown area has been extended through May 31, 2020.
The city WILL continue to enforce other violations in Chapter 34 of Traffic and Parking of the City Code.
In addition, residents are reminded that it is imperative that community members, whether feeling ill or well, implement social distancing best practices to limit the spread and contraction of COVID-19. This means staying home and away from as many people as possible as often as possible.
