April 30th, 2020- Decatur Memorial Hospital is showing support for Healthcare Workers with pink ribbons on the trees on their Decatur campus.
The Green View Nursery in Springfield donated pink ribbons to all five hospitals in Memorial Health Systems in support of healthcare workers as part of the Hearts for Healthcare campaign.
The campaign was created by Memorial Health System and includes showing support for healthcare workers in several ways, including car clings, t-shirts, and yard signs.
Yard signs can be seen in central Illinois elected officials’ yards, as well as hospital colleague’s yards. The signs are available for purchase at Ace Hardware in Decatur and Kenney’s Ace Hardware in Mt. Zion. The proceeds are shared among the five hospitals’ foundations and HSHS’s foundation to support COVID-19 relief efforts in our communities.
