February 25, 2022 – Tomorrow from 8 am to 10 pm the Decatur Indoor Sports Center will host the 11th Annual 4v4 Futsal Tournament.
There are divisions from u8 to adults and awards will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams. Last year, 42 teams from across Central Illinois took place in the event.
The term Futsal comes from the Spanish terms fútbol sala or fútbol de salón, meaning hall or lounge soccer. Players in a futsal game will touch the ball 10-20 times more per game than they would in a regulation soccer game, making it a great game for players looking to hone their skills at multiple positions.
