March 15, 2022 – The 2022 Macon County Continuum of Care shared the “Point-in-Time Count” results at the Community Breakfast on March 10, 2022. The breakfast, sponsored by the Macon County Continuum of Care Homeless Advisory Council, discussed the issues surrounding homelessness as pointed out by the Count.
The panel discussion shared, among others statistics, the average age of individuals who experience homelessness, diagnostics of those individuals, and where they have been able to find help.

This count was provided by Dove, Inc. and Millikin University. Entities, such as the Macon County Continuum of Care, who receive HUD funding are required to do the survey each year. The Macon County Count was done January 27, 2022.
