March 16, 2022 – Lisa Nelson, patient transport aide team lead, is the Decatur Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for February.
Nelson, of Decatur, has worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2020.
She is known for her “sweet” and comforting way with patients in her care, said hospital officials, and patients and visitors to Decatur Memorial frequently ask for her by name.
Outside of work, Nelson enjoys binge-watching shows and movies on streaming apps, using her Cricut crafting machine and spending time with her family.
