All-in Donation Day eyes Goal of $50,000 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities

Mar 28, 2022 | 11:59 AM

March 28, 2022 – Tuesday, March 29, Neuhoff Communications and WSOY in Decatur will be hosting its third annual All-in Donation Day with a goal to raise $50,000 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois.

To donate, call (217) 528-3314, or visit the website. Mailing information can also be found on the website. This is for one day only!

Thanks to a generous donation from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Macon County residents that donate $250 or more will receive a large photo coffee table book by Howard G. Buffett.

RMHC provides private rooms, meals, WiFi, transportation to/from the hospital, laundry services, and more to families when their child or children are receiving medical care in either Springfield or Peoria. Neuhoff is fortunate to partner with local McDonald’s owners/operators on fundraisers, like Shamrock Shake sales and Give A Little Love, but McDonald’s as a corporation does not fund this event.

Families are never asked to pay for staying at the House or using the services. The estimated cost is at least $127/night for a family to stay with us. In Springfield, on average, RMHC serves 300 families. In Peoria, they have the capacity to serve 700 families annually. Outside of Chicago, this is the only RMHC chapter in Illinois.

Neuhoff is also asking for donations to help families through wishlist items such as paper towels, toothbrushes, sheets, laundry detergent, anti-bacterial hand soap, and more.

Join Byers & Co. hosts Brian Byers and Nick Smith as they speak with those responsible for RMHCCI as well as families that found shelter and better lives thanks to All-in Day. The show, found on WSOY, begins at 6 a.m. and runs until 9 a.m.
