May 3, 2022 – Join the Decatur Park District as they celebrate Mom and wellness this weekend at Scovill Zoo.
On Saturday, May 7, the Zoo they have games, gifts, and animal presentations. Mothers will receive free admission with a paid child all weekend long.
Also on Saturday, May 7, the Zoo will be hosting the Zippy Zoo Kids Fun Run. The Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am at Scovill Park. It is a one-mile run where kids will run between 10 animal-inspired activities. Some of these stops include hopping like a wallaby, dashing like a cheetah, crawling like a mongoose, and more.
All participants will receive a Scovill Zoo water bottle, treat, and a completion ribbon. The pre-registration fee is $12. Day-of registration begins at 8 am and will be $15.
