May 18, 2022 – The St. Teresa Mega Raffle has its grand prize drawing on Friday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. Those who wish to enter the drawing must enter before it is too late.
Money raised during the Mega Raffle campaign goes to benefit the educational mission at St. Teresa High School and the costs associated with providing that education. This year, the operating cost to educate a St. Teresa student is $13,100. Tuition this year costs $7,000 and only covers 54% of the operating cost. The money raised from the MEGA and other fundraisers helps make up for the $6,100 gap left after tuition is paid.
Tickets are $100 each and they can be purchased at sttmega.com, by calling the advancement office at 875-7950, or by purchasing them at any of the participating businesses. They can be paid for via cash, check, or credit card. Only 5,000 total tickets will be sold.
Grand Prize Drawing will be in the evening of Friday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the KC Hall. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The inaugural year of the St. Teresa High School Mega Raffle was in 1995. Mega Raffle was launched and the grand prize in the first year was a raffle drawing for a house. Thereafter, the grand prize was changed to $100,000 and has remained that way ever since. The goal of the Mega Raffle was and always has been to allow St. Teresa High School to fully fund the educational experience for each student who is enrolled.
