October 5, 2020 – Mt. Zion will host a community blood drive on Thursday, October 8 from 2-6 pm at Mt. Zion Convention Center, inside Room B. If you would like to take part in the drive, contact the Blood Center at (217) 241-7550 or go to www.bloodcenter.org and use the code 71197 to locate the drive. Mt. Zion High School Key Club will be collecting donations to earn grant money for the school. Donors will receive a voucher for a t-shirt or a $5 gift card.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. will be required to make a donation. If you have questions about eligibility, call Community Blood Drive Services of Illinois at (800) 217-4483. Donors who gave blood on or before 8/13/2020 will be eligible to give at this drive.
