March 21, 2024 – The Decatur Park District will be hosting the Wiffleball Indoor Fieldhouse Frenzy, from March 22nd to March 24th at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center. The winning team will walk away with a $200 prize with $150 for the runner-up.
The tournament will be a double elimination bracket-style tournament. There is a limit of 16 teams, and each team will be limited to 8 players per team. Team entry is first come first serve and the team entry fee is $150. Teams can be comprised of both men and women age 16+. Teams can register by clicking HERE.
Sunday will also feature a Home Run Derby and Kids Game. A finalized schedule of times will be announced at a later date.
Wiffle Ball is a variation of the sport of baseball designed for indoor or outdoor play in confined areas. The game is played using a perforated, light-weight, rubbery plastic ball and a long, plastic bat.
