Face mask have become the norm since the pandemic began over a year ago. With vaccines rolling out, will that trend continue once the world gets the pandemic under control?
A new survey reveals that a quarter of Americans will ‘frequently’ wear a protective face mask in public after this is all over. We’ve certainly learned they help reduce the spread of viruses. The flu infection rate has gone down this year, in part, to face covers.
31% say they will wear one, but only in special circumstance. Those circumstances were not defined in the published report. Still, 23% say they will done with mask when the pandemic is done as well.
Surprisingly in the “No” column it was the older generations that were more reluctant to continue with the mask wearing. 45-54 & 55+ were the ones to say “No” the most (28% & 26%), followed by 35-44 (24%).
