March 17, 2020 – The United Way is asking for your help.
The United Way’s volunteer portal is receiving requests for help for Northeast Community Fund and Good Samaritan Inn. Both organizations are providing food for families in need.
The Good Samaritan Inn and Northeast Community Fund are changing their practices temporarily in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Good Samaritan Inn is serving hot noon meals in a grab and go capacity from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, 7 days a week. Northeast Community Fund will operate its food pantry as a “drive-through” pantry from 9 am-2 pm.
